By Maggi Hambling, I have always had a proclivity for art made about or relating to water, the sea being the epitome of power and beauty, these paintings could not capture it more perfectly. You get a feeling of energy and power from just looking at them, the brush strokes and texture the water seems ready to wash right through the canvas and into the space they inhabit.

The final stages of my chest piece. I have through no forethought landed up with mostly bird tattoos. The bluebird on my left arm (Ross Hallam from Handstyle Custom Tattoos JHB, South Africa) which reminds me to be good to people, gotten after I wasnt good to someone, is my 21st bird tattoo. The Chest piece is done by Jan Munky Giebelmann from Golden Tiki in JHB, South Africa.
